Ben Cheng

Ben Cheng founded Oursky in 2008 with 2 partners, all fresh graduates from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and grew the team from 3 to over 60 people in 10 years’ time.

From 2008 to 2013, Oursky has launched a number of apps with over 3 Million downloads on both iOS and Android platforms. Their apps have also been featured as Best of the week / Best of 2013 by Apple App Store, among other prestigious apps.

Since then, Ben and his team provide digital transformation consulting services to Enterprises, and create quality web, mobile and AI software for startups.

In 2020, Oursky launched two SaaS products — FormX.ai and Authgear.com, which helps corporates to transform documents into data and improve the security & usability of authentication services.

After work, Ben also actively promotes digital rights, Internet freedom and security. He served as the Chairman of the Internet Society Hong Kong, Director of Culture & Media Education Foundation, Creative Commons Hong Kong, Advisory Committee of Web Accessibility Recognition Scheme, etc.
