As of February 2025, 11 local WordCamps and 1 flagship WordCamp have been held in the Philippines in different cities including Manila, Iloilo City, Davao, and Cebu. Talks are delivered in English. The country is so close to Hong Kong and things are cheaper there than in Hong Kong. These all make WordCamps in the Philippines attractive to us.
The last local WordCamp in the Philippines was held in Cebu in August 2024. To prepare for WordCamp Asia 2025, there has been a hiatus for local WordCamps.
As of March 2026, WordCamp Cebu is heard to be scheduled for July and WordCamp Iloilo is scheduled for August.
